About Grant

Grant is a self taught software developer. He worked for 5 years doing systems administration and Java development at XactCommerce. From there he pursued some other interests and found his way to Columbia Chicago where he earned his undergraduate degree in Acoustics focusing on environmental noise control.

Currently, Grant works at URS Corporation as a software developer and environmental scientist. Professionally, he is working on an airport radar data analysis package. It takes data points from radar systems, performs flight track and profile analysis, custom profile development, and statistical analysis of flight operations for use in the FAA's Integrated Noise Model software.

In his spare time, Grant develops software for Mac OS X.
